The latest issue of The HP Palmtop Paper is really great, even with the sad account of the end of an era, due to HP marketing shortsightedness from the latest business school-educated managers. It's sad.

Liked your article a lot, Hal. I'm with you...it definitely signals the end of an era. The sad thing is, it's not just EduCALC. A lot of the fun and the "pioneer spirit" has left the computer industry in general, and palmtops were one of the last frontiers for this, if you ask me. Oh well...at least I can say, "I was there when it all started."
