Connecting the Sensor to the Door/Window Transmitter

You can connect both normally-open and normally-closed sensors to the
supplied door/window transmitter. Your system comes with a normally-closed
sensor.

Note: You can connect more than one sensor to the transmitter to protect
more than one window or door. However, to reduce the number of
wires and provide a neater installation, we suggest you connect only
       one sensor to the transmitter.

To connect the supplied normally-closed sensor, follow these steps.

1. Remove the shorting bar from transmitter's COM and N.C. terminals, if
    it is attached.

2. Connect one of the sensor's screw terminals to the transmitter's N.C.
    screw terminal.

3. Connect the sensor's other screw terminal to the transmitter's COM
    screw terminal.

Note: If you connect more than one sensor to the N.C. terminal, connect
       them in series as shown.

4. Replace the transmitter's cover.

To connect a normally-open sensor, follow these steps.

1. Be sure the shorting bar is attached to the transmitter's COM and N.C.
    terminals.

2. Connect one of the sensor's screw terminals to the transmitter's N.O.
    screw terminal.

3. Connect the sensor's other screw terminal to the transmitter's COM
    screw terminal.

4. Replace the transmitter's cover.

Note: If you connect more than one sensor to the N.O. terminal, connect
       them in parallel as shown.

To connect both normally-open and normally- closed sensors, follow these
steps.

1. Remove the shorting bar from the transmitter's COM and N.C. terminals,
    if it is attached.

2. Connect one of the screw terminals of the normally-closed sensor to the
    transmitter's N.C. screw terminal.

3. Connect the other screw terminal of the normally-closed sensor to the
    transmitter's COM screw terminal.

4. Connect one of the screw terminals of the normally open sensor to the
    transmitter's N.O. screw terminal.

5. Connect the other screw terminal of the normally open sensor to the
    transmitter's COM Screw terminal.

6. Replace the transmitter's cover.
